A real-life Tom Dunn was a hero

Our favorite fictional U.S. Army Ranger, Sgt. Tom Dunn, is by his nature and actions, a hero, receiving the Medal of Honor in book 9, Raid on Hitler’s Dam, for his actions in book 1, Operation Devil’s Fire.

I thought you’d enjoy reading about a real-life hero named Tom Dunn from 1894.

Jack, the son of my friend and FIRST READER, Dave Cross, is reading a book, The Secrets of Morse Code, and found a story about a man named Tom Dunn. Here’s the excerpt. Thanks to Jack for finding this interesting fun nugget, and to Dave for sending me the great picture of the text.

Thanks for stopping by.

Lunar eclipse

There's an upcoming supermoon and eclipse (in some areas). Here's a beautiful time-lapse video of a 2011 eclipse. When the moon is dark, the Milky Way becomes visible. Incredible!

I go to the astronomy picture of the day website daily. I love space. When I first started writing, it was in the science fiction genre because that was my favorite since the age of 13. It turns out writing it is a lot harder than reading and enjoying it, so I gave up writing it and turned to my other love, WWII, which led to the Sgt. Dunn Novels.

My newest is now available on Amazon:
