A horrible day in American history. But let's remember that the Japanese commanders weren't as smart or courageous as they thought they were. They left the oil supply intact, which, if they'd destroyed that, would have crippled the U.S. Navy for much longer. We certainly would not have been able to fight the Battle of Midway.
