At the end of Saving Paris, Neil Marston touches the Arch of Triumph in Paris. In the Author's notes, I mention that I hoped to one day touch the pyramids. I was fortunate enough to do that.

My wife and I walked down to the Nile River today, about a block from our apartment. We sat there admiring the view for about forty minutes. She spotted this crane flying low over the water and I got the camera up just in time to snap this great picture. Note the shadow on the rock.
