Hello Sgt. Dunn fans!
I'm delighted to reveal the title of the new book and the description. I'm working on the final edit and hope to release the book in late August.
Rogue Nazis
Description
In 1936 German scientists accidentally created a
horribly toxic chemical while attempting to make a new pesticide. Two years
later, refined and called Sarin gas, it was moved to the Spandau Citadel in
Berlin, the Nazis' chemical warfare center. The gas is so potent, it can kill
humans in just twenty minutes.
In Tunisia after the Afrika Korps surrendered in 1943, a bright, perceptive British intelligence officer interrogates a German prisoner who used to work at Spandau. What he learns terrifies him. However, his report, when received in London, is stamped NO FURTHER ACTION REQUIRED and filed away.
Unbeknownst to the Allies, the director of Spandau Citadel, an SS officer, and three other rogue Nazis are planning to use the Sarin gas against the British using V2 rockets. This goes against the Führer, Adolf Hitler’s, firm belief it should not be used.
Meanwhile, U.S. Army Ranger Master Sergeant Tom Dunn and a platoon of lethal Rangers and British Commandos parachute into Germany near Kassel. Their objective is to destroy the German Tiger II tank’s main production facility, ruining the Nazis ability to make the newer, deadly tank for months.
Alan Finch, a special assistant to Prime Minister Churchill, has come face to face with the British intelligence officer, currently assigned to the War Office, and works with his friend, Reggie Shepston, at Bletchley Park to find out exactly what the Nazis are doing.
No sooner has Dunn returned from Kassel than he learns about the Sarin gas threat from Finch and is assigned to break into Spandau Citadel, locate the Sarin gas production line and storage, and destroy them. He and his men are going to be the first Allied soldiers to step foot in the enemy’s capital of Berlin.
Can Dunn and his men complete the dangerous, critical mission or will the Rogue Nazis be a step ahead?
In book sixteen of the Sgt. Dunn Novels, Munsterman, a master of taking real WWII history and creating suspenseful action thrillers, shows us what remarkable soldiers in the field can do when faced with unthinkable horror.
